Club Swim 

 

O'Tooles Club Swim is designed for swimmers who wish to train but without the pressure of having to attend 3 or 4 times a week. Each session is 45 minutes long.

 

As well as improving fitness and increasing speed, the Club Swim is also great for socialising and meeting new people.

 

Throughout the course of the term, each week will have a different aim. Swimmers will concentrate on improving their stroke technique and correcting their starts, turns and finishes on all 4 strokes.

 

 

 

 

Things you need to know

 

1. Bring a bottle of water/squash to drink during every session. 

 

2. Goggles are not compulsory but strongly recommended due to the amount of time spent in the water.

 

3. A swim hat must be worn, especially for girls with long hair.

 

4. Ensure that your child has at least an hour between eating and attending the session. Try to avoid swimming on an empty stomach too.
